A fire following a Russian drone attack destroyed a Red Cross warehouse in Kherson. There were no casualties, and the organization continues to help residents.
On the evening of August 23, a fire broke out at a Ukrainian Red Cross warehouse in Kherson as a result of a Russian drone attack. Humanitarian aid was stored there. The fire damaged and destroyed supplies worth nearly UAH 28 million, the Ukrainian Red Cross reports, writes UNN.

The destroyed and damaged property included equipment and materials for preparations for the autumn-winter period, as well as supplies for promptly responding to the consequences of Russian shelling.

In particular, the warehouse stored materials for temporarily covering damaged buildings, medical supplies, blankets, hygiene kits, equipment for supplying water and electricity, and other humanitarian aid.
The Red Cross continues its work
There were no casualties among Ukrainian Red Cross employees and volunteers.
Despite the loss of humanitarian supplies, the organization continues its work in Kherson and the region. Its teams are responding to the consequences of Russian attacks and continue to provide assistance to local residents.
