Patrol officers detained a man for shooting in a courtyard in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. Police seized the weapon and opened a case under the article on hooliganism.
Patrol police officers detained a man who, according to preliminary data, may be involved in a shooting in the capital's Darnytskyi district, the Kyiv patrol police press service reported. This was reported by the Kyiv patrol police, according to UNN.

It is noted that a report was received via the 112 emergency line about a man walking through the courtyard of a residential building and firing shots.
"We brought our service firearms to combat readiness in accordance with Article 46 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the National Police,' as the situation could have warranted their use, and detained the offender using handcuffs in accordance with Article 45 of the Law 'On the National Police,'"
During the inspection of the scene, law enforcement officers found shell casings, presumably left after the shots. An investigative-operational group was called to the scene, and the weapon was seized for forensic examination.
According to the police, investigators detained the man under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon).
