A large-scale fire raged in the Dnipro River floodplain in Zaporizhzhia, damaging 9.2 hectares of the environment. Rescuers used motorboats and a snowmobile to reach the fire and extinguish the flames.
The fire occurred the day before in the floodplain area of the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia. Due to the wind, the fire spread rapidly. Rescuers managed to get to the fire by motorboat and snowmobile. UNN reports this with reference to the State Emergency Service.

It was difficult to eliminate it because special firefighting equipment could not get to the center of the fire.
The rescuers arrived at the fires in a motorboat and a BOGUN 2 snowmobile. They used motorized pumps, backpack fire extinguishers and improvised means to eliminate the fire.
The fire caused damage to the environment over a total area of 9.2 hectares, the SES said.
