The deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the difficulties of accounting for weapons at the front and their uncontrolled spread. The government is taking steps to control the situation, and the parliament has passed a law on trophy weapons.

A significant number of unregistered weapons come from the frontline, where their accounting is difficult, but the state is taking all necessary measures to control the situation. This was stated by Deputy Interior Minister Leonid Tymchenko during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.

According to him, the state is performing all the necessary functions to control the situation with the increase in the number of unregistered weapons.

This year, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading a draft law that would regulate the issue of trophy firearms and establish the procedure for obtaining, declaring, and handling them.
