At the "Hvardiiske" military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, a series of explosions rang out overnight, after which a large-scale fire broke out. According to reports by the "Crimean Wind" Telegram channel, a fuel and lubricants depot was likely hit, UNN writes.

According to the channel, the explosions at the airfield occurred in two stages — from 03:30 to 03:39 and from 04:34 to 04:47. A severe fire broke out afterward, which eyewitnesses said could be seen several kilometers away. Two fire hotspots have been reported.

It is also claimed that the detonation of small-arms ammunition can be heard on the airfield's territory.

According to "Crimean Wind," Russian forces launch Shahed-type attack drones from the "Hvardiiske" airfield to carry out attacks on Ukraine.
