A fire broke out in the Dymer community, destroying part of the enclosures. According to preliminary data, the cause may have been a short circuit.
A fire broke out on the premises of an animal shelter in the Dymer community of Vyshhorod district. The fire destroyed part of the enclosures, and animals died as a result of the blaze. This is reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region, according to UNN.

Yesterday, August 8, at 4:30 a.m., the police received a report of a fire in the enclosures on the premises of an animal shelter in the Dymer territorial community. Police officers and rescuers worked at the scene; the latter extinguished the fire
Investigators found that the fire destroyed part of the enclosures. In addition, unfortunately, animals died. Preliminary findings suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
Later, the State Emergency Service units will provide the police with the final results. Investigators from the Vyshhorod District Police Department launched a pre-trial investigation into a violation of statutory fire or technogenic safety requirements that caused a fire (Part 1 of Article 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

In the village of Fedorivka in the Kyiv region, according to the State Emergency Service, the "Sirius" animal shelter caught fire. The fire destroyed 20 enclosures and utility buildings; the causes are being established.
