At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 83 Shahed drones and an S-300 missile in Kharkiv region. The defense forces destroyed 53 UAVs in different regions, and another 30 were lost locally.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of November 16, 2024 (from 20:30 on November 15), the enemy struck Kharkiv region with an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, attacked with 83 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones from the Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions of Russia.
As of 08.30, 53 enemy UAVs were confirmed to have been shot down in Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi regions. As a result of active counteraction of the Defense Forces, 30 enemy UAVs were lost in different regions of Ukraine
