236 battles on the front, enemy increases drone use - General Staff updates maps

236 clashes recorded on the front over the past day; the enemy deployed nearly 10,000 kamikaze drones. The highest number of attacks was repelled in the Pokrovsk direction.
236 combat engagements occurred at the front over the past day; the enemy increased the use of kamikaze drones compared to the previous day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning briefing on May 19, providing a map of hostilities, UNN reports.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using 22 missiles and 72 air strikes, dropping 225 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,794 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,201 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including 48 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit four areas of enemy manpower concentration, a command post, three UAV control points, and three other important enemy targets.
Situation by directions
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, over the past day, the aggressor launched three air strikes using six KABs and carried out 88 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including two using MLRS.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units seven times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsya, Vilcha, Prylipka, Veterynarne, and towards Grafske and Karaichne.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked five times towards Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Kivsharivka, and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to wedge into our defense 14 times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Stavky, Zarichne, Drobysheve, Novoserhiivka, and towards Ozerne and Dibrova.
In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy stormed three times towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kalenyky.
In the Kramatorsk direction, no attacks by the occupiers were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Vilne, Toretske, Berestok, Stepanivka, and towards Kostiantynivka and Kucheriv Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 40 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Molodetske, Filiia, Bilytske, Nykanorivka, and Pokrovsk.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once towards Voronne.
In the Hulyaypole direction, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks towards Zlahoda, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Charivne, Tsvitkove, Rivne, Zaliznychne, Rybne, Staroukrainka, and Hirke.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one attempt by the enemy to advance in the Shcherbaky area.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy conducted four attacks towards Antonivka and Bilohrudyi Island.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
