There were 143 combat engagements in the frontline, almost half of them in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors. Defense forces struck nine times at the enemy, destroying an electronic warfare station and other facilities.

143 clashes took place on the frontline over the past day, almost half of them in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions, Defense forces hit the Zhytel electronic warfare station and two other important enemy targets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 8 a.m. on November 19, UNN reports.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile attacks (two rockets) at the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, 77 air strikes, dropping 123 KABs. In addition, it made more than 4,900 attacks, including 152 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Yesterday, the aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces, as noted, carried out nine strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, as well as hit the UAV control center, artillery system, two warehouses of material and technical resources, the Zhitel electronic warfare station and two other important enemy objects.

According to the General Staff, the situation is as follows:

In the Kharkiv sector, six combat engagements took place in the area of Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, the number of attacks amounted to nine over the day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Kruhlyakivka and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked six times near Novolyubivka, Torske and Bilohorivka.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made four attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 38 assaults in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promenu, Lysivka, Petrivka, Pustynka and Novooleksiyivka, where the invaders, supported by aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 30 attacks near Berestky, Sontsivka, Voznesenka, Dalne, Yelizavetivka, Katerynivka and Antonivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Vremivsky sector, the enemy carried out 14 assault actions near Trudove, Rozdolne, Makarivka, Rivne and Novodarivka.

In the Prydniprovsky sector, eight combat engagements with the enemy took place in the island zone of the Dnipro Delta. The enemy was not successful.

On the Siversky, Kramatorsk, Huliaipilsky and Orikhiv directions the situation did not undergo any significant changes. In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

"Ukrainian defense forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Enemy aircraft continue to strike at our own territory. Over the past day, Russian aircraft conducted 27 air strikes, dropping 37 KABs. Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 assault attacks by the invaders," the General Staff reported.

At the same time, our soldiers, as noted, continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
