President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived at the European Political Community summit taking place in Yerevan, according to the event's broadcast, UNN reports.

Zelenskyy was officially welcomed at the opening of the event by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who took a photo with him.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy was met at the airport by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the country, Alen Simonyan.
According to the press secretary of the President of Ukraine, bilateral meetings are planned with the prime ministers of Great Britain, Norway, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
Last week, Zelenskyy was in Azerbaijan.
The European Political Community summit begins with a welcoming ceremony and a red carpet, Radio Azatutyun reports. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is greeting approximately five dozen leaders arriving at the complex one by one.
The President of France, the Prime ministers of Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Norway, Poland, the leaders of the European Union, and the NATO Secretary General are in Yerevan. For the first time in this format, the Prime Minister of Canada is participating as a guest. Of the key EU countries, only the German Chancellor did not arrive at the summit, citing workload.
Despite the invitation, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did not come to Armenia; Ankara, which has no diplomatic relations with Yerevan, as noted by Radio Azatutyun, "essentially broke the summit format" by sending Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz to the meeting without explaining the reasons. Since President Gül's visit in 2008, Yılmaz is the highest-ranking Turkish official to visit the neighboring country. Azerbaijan has not confirmed its participation, and until the last moment, it was unknown whether Baku would be represented at the event in any way.
