According to the agency's interlocutors, several states are involved, including the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. Some of the weapons were purchased under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, but have not yet been delivered.

Reasons for delays
The delays are due to the fact that the war against Iran is creating an additional burden on the US defense industry.
Since the beginning of the conflict, Tehran has carried out hundreds of ballistic missile and drone attacks, most of which have been intercepted, including with PAC-3 Patriot missiles.
Sources note that American arms stockpiles have already been significantly reduced after aid to Ukraine since 2022 and support for Israel.
Against this background, there are fears that the United States will not be able to simultaneously satisfy all external requests for arms supplies.
