Ukraine has requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on July 27 in response to Russia's attacks on freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. This was reported by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, according to UNN.

According to Sybiha, Russia is holding global food security hostage. In just the last few days, Russia has attacked at least three civilian cargo vessels. Dozens of crew members have been killed or injured.
