Tonight, during a massive attack on Kyiv, an enemy strike damaged the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. During a visit to the Lavra territory, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy answered a question about whether Russia would receive a response for the attack on the Ukrainian shrine, UNN reports.
"You will see everything in the news," Zelenskyy said.
Obviously, such words from the head of state indicate preparations for a response to the night attack on the capital. This is especially true against the backdrop of Ukraine increasing the intensity and range of strikes deep into the Russian Federation—in 2025, there were 658 of them; this year, according to expert estimates, the number of strikes on enemy territory may exceed 800.
Notably, Denys Shtilerman, co-founder and chief designer of Fire Point, also reacted to the strike on the Dormition Cathedral.
We will rebuild everything. As we have rebuilt many times before. And God will return to Russia—by exactly the path they deserve. A ballistic one
Such words from the chief designer of a company planning to launch the first Ukrainian ballistic missile into mass production are clearly more than just a hint.
As a reminder
On the night of June 15, Russian troops attacked the Dormition Cathedral of the Lavra in Kyiv. A large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the shrine. The roof of the Dormition Cathedral was damaged—the church dome was knocked off, and a fire started.
