Prosecutors of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court against the former People's Artist of Ukraine and ex-MP of the Verkhovna Rada from the banned "Party of Regions" Taisiya Povaliy. This was reported by the SBU press service, according to UNN.
Details
Povaliy is accused of collaboration, public calls for aggressive war, justifying and denying Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as glorifying its participants.
According to the investigation, in 2014, the accused moved to Russia, where she continues her creative and entrepreneurial activities. In 2023, she obtained Russian citizenship.
The artist actively supports the President of the Russian Federation. In particular, she participates in various political actions
The High Anti-Corruption Court has already ruled to seize her property in favor of the state. This includes:
- 7 land plots in Kyiv region (9.3 ha);
- a residential building (442 sq. m);
- a household (101 sq. m);
- two cars;
- four units of weapons;
- property rights to nine musical works.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the SBU Department in Vinnytsia Oblast. The court hearing will take place in absentia, as the accused is in Russia.

Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court satisfied the Ministry of Justice's lawsuit regarding the application of sanctions against singer Taisiya Povaliy and seized, among other things, a car and rights to 9 of the singer's songs into state ownership.
