The victims of the shelling of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region on the night of April 24 could not hide from the fire of the occupiers. During the attack, Russia killed a 12-year-old girl who was running to a shelter under the whistle of rockets, but did not make it. Police paramedics spoke about the work at the site of the night strike, reports UNN with reference to the National Police of Ukraine in Telegram.

On the night before, at about 22:10, the enemy attacked the city with four rockets from the Smerch MLRS. As a result of the attack, two people were killed and two were injured. A child and her 40-year-old neighbor did not survive as a result of shrapnel wounds.
Police officers arrived to the rescue in the first minutes after the shelling. They provided assistance to two wounded. A 30-year-old man sustained minor injuries, and a 47-year-old woman with severe injuries needed hospitalization. Both were taken to the hospital, and an elderly woman was unblocked from a destroyed house.
According to the police, more than 20 civilian objects were damaged as a result of the hits, including 15 private houses.
