Singapore's Changi Air Hub has been recognized as the world's best airport for the thirteenth year in a row. It once again topped the list of the most convenient and hospitable airports from the British consulting company Skytrax.

As the publication notes, Changi is not just a complex of platforms from which planes take off in all directions of the world. It itself often serves as a destination. The Changi complex includes a large 10-story Jewel shopping center, which was visited by 80 million people last year alone, indoor botanical gardens, a Rare Butterfly Center, and a 40-meter rain-like waterfall, which is the world's largest indoor waterfall.
Resorts, hotels, art exhibitions, a museum, a cinema have been built around the airport; there is even a dinosaur theme park. The Singapore Changi administration has introduced early check-in to allow passengers to leave their bags 48 hours before departure and have plenty of time to spend part of their vacation at the airport.
Hamad International in Qatar, one of the most luxurious aviation centers in the world, was named the number 2 airport in the Skytrax world ranking. It also received awards for the best airport shopping and the best airport in the Middle East.
Asian airports took places from third to sixth on the list, once again proving that the region is intensely moving towards improving air transport.

Tokyo Haneda, also named the cleanest airport in the world, took 3rd place. It was followed by Seoul's Incheon International (also recognized as the best airport staff in the world), Narita International (serving Tokyo) and Hong Kong International.
Nine European airports made it to the TOP-20. Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport at number 7 was named the best airport in Europe for the third year in a row.
