Russia continued attacking energy facilities in Odesa region overnight; due to enemy attacks, parts of four regions are without electricity, and no outage schedules are expected, the Energy Ministry said Wednesday, UNN reports.

"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions remain temporarily without electricity," the statement said.
As noted, restoration work is ongoing wherever the security situation allows. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all consumers as soon as possible.
"The situation remains most difficult in Odesa region. This night, the enemy once again attacked energy infrastructure facilities. Restoration work is ongoing," the Energy Ministry reported.
"The introduction of restrictions is not forecast today. It would be advisable to shift intensive electricity consumption to the daytime—from 10:00 to 16:00. We ask consumers, where possible, to use electricity sparingly," the statement said.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has decreased. Today, August 13, as of 09:30, it was 8.9% lower than at the same time the previous day—Wednesday. The reason for the change is the establishment of comfortable temperatures in most regions of Ukraine, reducing the need for widespread use of air conditioners. Also today, clear weather was established in all regions, facilitating the efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding decrease in the volume of electricity consumption from the main grid. Yesterday, August 12, the daily consumption maximum was recorded in the evening. It was 5.5% lower than the maximum on the previous day—Tuesday, August 11. The reason was the subsiding heat in most regions of Ukraine.
