"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily without electricity," the statement says.
In the Kharkiv region, according to the Ministry of Energy, during emergency restoration work following an attack by an enemy drone on a service vehicle, energy workers were injured. The victims were taken to a hospital, where they are receiving all necessary medical care.

"No restrictions are expected today. Active energy consumption should be shifted to daytime hours - from 10:00 to 15:00," the Ministry of Energy urged.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption shows a downward trend. Today, July 16, as of 09:30, it was 4.5% lower than at the same time the previous day – on Wednesday. The reason for the changes is clear weather in all regions of Ukraine, which ensures efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding reduction in the volume of energy consumption from the general grid.
Yesterday, July 15, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 3.4% higher than the maximum of the previous day – on Tuesday, July 14. The reason is the high air temperature, which causes active use of air conditioners by consumers.
