Today, on July 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., electricity restrictions have been lifted for all regions. From 19:00 to 22:00, a four-queue limit is expected. At other times of the day, the restriction is limited to three queues. This was reported by Ukrenergo on Monday, according to UNN.
Consumption
This morning, on July 8, Ukrenergo's Dispatch Center recorded consumption below the forecast level. The decrease in consumption in the morning after the weekend and the accumulated reserve in the system made it possible to reduce the volume of restrictions. And from 10:30 to 14:00, the restrictions will be lifted for all regions of Ukraine
It is noted that in the evening, with an increase in consumption and air temperature, the volume of restrictions is expected to increase. According to the forecast, from 19:00 to 22:00, regional power distribution companies will apply 4 stages of outage schedules simultaneously.
At other times of the day, there will be 3 rounds of blackouts throughout Ukraine.
However, as the situation in the power system changes, Ukrenergo has indicated that the scope of restrictions may be changed.
Import and export
During the day, imports from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Moldova are expected to total 29,844 MWh, with a maximum capacity of 1,538 MW.
Exports are not taking place and are not expected.
Ukrenergo and Oblenergo grids
As of the morning, 504 settlements remain without power.
Due to hostilities: there are new power outages in Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions.
For technical reasons, consumers in Volyn, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions lost power.
According to Ukrenergo, the technical reasons for the outages are related to the impact of heat on high-voltage equipment and power lines, as well as the consequences of hostilities in the frontline regions.
