European leaders arrived in Kyiv for the Ukraine - Southeast Europe summit

On Ukrainian Statehood Day, leaders and high-ranking officials from Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Serbia and other countries arrived in Kyiv to participate in the "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit.

On Ukrainian Statehood Day, in addition to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, a number of European leaders also arrived in Kyiv today, as reported in their countries' media, writes UNN.

According to data from Moldova's NewsMaker, Moldovan President Maia Sandu left for an official visit to Kyiv on July 15 at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Romanian Digi24 writes that Romanian President Nikushor Dan arrived in the Ukrainian capital on Wednesday and will take part in the Ukraine – Southeast Europe summit in Kyiv, where he will reaffirm Romania's commitment to continue providing assistance to Ukraine and contributing to strengthening the security and resilience of the Black Sea region and Southeast Europe.

As reported by Slovenian 24ur.com, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša has also arrived in Kyiv, where the summit is expected. According to the plan, he will also meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

According to data from Croatian HRT, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković arrived in Kyiv for the Southeast Europe – Ukraine summit. He will discuss further support for Ukraine.

As writes Albanian Albanian Post, President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj arrived in Kyiv this Wednesday to participate in the "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit, which brought together leaders of the European Union and countries of the region. 

From Bulgaria, Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova is on an official visit to Kyiv today, indicates Bulgarian Actualno.com.

It is reported that Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov and Vice Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro Filip Ivanović have also arrived.

Serbian Srpski kompas indicates that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrived in Kyiv, where he will take part in the Southeast Europe-Ukraine summit today.  

The summit is attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and high-ranking officials from Albania, Moldova, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Turkey, and Greece.

This is already the fifth such summit.
