It is noted that in July, it was planned to raise about $50 million in large contributions for the Biden Foundation, but “as of Friday, less than half of this amount has been received.
At the same time, Biden's headquarters responded to journalists' requests by saying that fundraising for his re-election campaign was going on as planned.
“Reuters' sources are incorrect, we look forward to an updated fundraising schedule,” campaign spokesman Kevin Munoz said on Friday.
