President of Ukraine met with Managing Director of the World Bank Anna Bjerde. The parties discussed the establishment of the Special Trust Fund and further financial support for Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the World Bank's Managing Director for Operations Anna Bjerde, UNN reports with reference to the Presidential Office.

The Head of State thanked for all the support provided to Ukraine by the World Bank. In particular, for the consolidation of financial assistance and support programs.

"The World Bank and your team have been helping us since the very beginning of the Russian invasion, and we really value our relationship," the President said.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine hopes to continue such cooperation both now and after the war is over to rebuild the country.

The Head of State emphasized the importance of establishing the Special Trust Fund (FIF) that would help the G7 countries to provide additional funding to Ukraine and expressed hope for the speedy completion of all formal procedures.
