Zelenskyy sums up first meeting in Azerbaijan with Aliyev: six documents signed. Discussions covered defense, energy, humanitarian issues, and peace.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the results of negotiations with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev following his first visit to the country. The parties held their seventh meeting in over four years and signed six documents in various fields. He wrote about this in Telegram, as reported by UNN.

According to the head of state, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have a high level of bilateral relations based on mutual respect.

Defense cooperation and energy
One of the key areas of the negotiations was the defense-industrial complex. The parties agreed to develop and deepen cooperation in this area.
The energy sector was also discussed during the meeting, including the continuation of current initiatives and the launch of new projects. The President thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance.

Humanitarian support and further agreements
The parties paid special attention to humanitarian support for Ukraine and efforts to restore peace. Zelenskyy also thanked for support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
