President Zelenskyy announced the start of negotiations on a security agreement with a European country on August 2. Ukraine is also preparing visits by leaders and working to ensure the country's resilience for years to come.

Tomorrow, August 2, Ukraine will begin negotiations with another European country on a security agreement. Kyiv is also preparing visits of leaders to Ukraine. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening video address, UNN reports .

He noted that the key task is to ensure the defense forces, the state budget, and the social stability of Ukraine.

According to the Presidential Administration, Ukraine has already signed 25 bilateral security agreements to implement the G7 Joint Declaration adopted last year in Vilnius. Ukraine is currently negotiating with four more states to sign a security document.
