Zelenskyy dismissed Khmara from the position of acting head of the SBU and head of the "A" center

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Yevhenii Khmara from the position of acting head of the SBU and head of the Special Operations Center "A". Earlier, the government appointed Khmara as acting Minister of Defense.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Yevhen Khmara, whom the Cabinet of Ministers today appointed as acting Minister of Defense, from the post of acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine and from the post of head of the Special Operations Center "A" of the SBU. This is reported by UNN with reference to the relevant decrees of the President.
"To dismiss Yevhen Leonidovych Khmara from the temporary performance of the duties of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine," - reads decree No. 619/2026.
By decree No. 620/2026, Khmara was dismissed from the post of head of the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine.
