"I had a telephone conversation with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. (...) Discussed the continuation of defense cooperation. Mr. Prime Minister said that his country is preparing the 45th support package for transfer and has already started work on the next defense package," Zelensky wrote on social networks.
"I thanked the Polish people for their solidarity with Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion and the prime minister for his personal principled reaction to the latest Russian shelling and attempts to end the political isolation of Russian dictator Putin," Zelensky stressed.
According to him, the parties "shared their expectations from the Polish presidency of the EU Council in the first half of next year." "I hope for Poland's support in the negotiation process with the EU regarding the opening of the first cluster of negotiations and the parallel opening of other clusters," the president stressed.
"I also thanked Donald Tusk for using broad personal contacts to advocate for Ukraine's accession to NATO and continue its defense support for Ukraine," Zelensky said.
