On November 15, the Cabinet of ministers appointed Alexander Potiy chairman of the State Special communications service of Ukraine. The new head has 25 years of experience in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is a doctor of technical sciences with 20 years of academic experience.
According to the Ministry, Alexander Potiy has more than 25 years of service experience in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he worked on communication security and information technologies. In addition to military service, he has more than 20 years of work in the academic field, is a doctor of technical sciences, professor and has made a significant contribution to the development of scientific research. Since 2020, he has held the position of deputy chairman of the State Special Communications Service, responsible for strategic areas of work.
