Zelensky also officially appointed Mykhailo Drapaty commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by his decree.

Before that, Zelensky reported that Mikhail Drapaty was appointed the new commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Zelensky noted that Major General Mikhail Drapaty successfully organized defense in the Kharkiv direction and disrupted the offensive operation of Russian forces. Pavlyuk was appointed commander on February 11, 2024.
