With Budanov, the OP became a structure that systematizes problems, assesses resources, and seeks solutions, - expert.

The appointment of Kyrylo Budanov as head of the President's Office brought military precision and systematicity to the institution's work. Political expert and blogger Oleksiy Holobutsky, summarizing the first three months of the former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate's work in his new role, notes that chaotic decision-making is gradually becoming a thing of the past, UNN writes.
If Budanov's role on the international stage was clear from the first days, then within the country he demonstrated a talent for effective administration.
"Now it can be said for sure that Budanov is not interested in gossip and intrigues. The President's Office has become a structure that systematizes problems, evaluates resources, and seeks solutions. With his appointment, Budanov did not make massive personnel changes, because why shake up an already weakened structure after the 'Mindichgate' scandal," Holobutsky explains.
According to the expert, instead of personnel purges, a strict algorithm was introduced: defining the goal, assessing available resources, execution, and mandatory reporting. This approach allowed integrating existing specialists into a single vector of results. However, the expert assumes that those who cannot adapt to the new discipline will soon leave their positions.
Holobutsky concludes that in three months, the work of the "crisis manager in uniform" has justified itself.
"Budanov is gradually gaining momentum from 'stabilizing' the crisis situation and directing the OP towards systemic thinking, assessing resources and risks, seeking new opportunities, subordinating everything to a single result - preserving the state and winning. And it is not surprising that under such conditions, Budanov's political weight is growing," the analyst concluded.
