On Sunday, December 29, Croatia will vote in the presidential election. Eight candidates are running for the post. The current president of Croatia, former Social Democrat Zoran Milanovic, has the highest chances of gaining the support of voters. This is evidenced by polls.
But Milanovic is unlikely to win more than 50% of the vote. A second round of elections is likely to take place.
Dragan Primorac, former Minister of Science, who is supported by the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), is also considered the most promising candidate.
