President Zelenskiy called for the lifting of restrictions on strikes on Russian territory, saying it would help Ukraine limit Russia's actions in southern Ukraine and expel the occupier, as well as protect Ukrainian cities from Russian guided bombs and missile attacks.

In the United States, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for the lifting of restrictions on strikes on Russian territory. According to him, this will help Ukraine to limit Russia's actions in southern Ukraine and push the occupier out of there. He said this while speaking  at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, UNN reports.

The President noted that in May and June, the Defense Forces stopped the Russian offensive on Kharkiv. According to him, "the courage of our men and women, as well as America's permission to strike military targets in Russia, did the job."

Ukraine also destroyed the Russian missile launchers that had been firing at Kharkiv daily for more than two years. This gave Kharkiv protection from missile attacks.

Imagine how much we can achieve when all restrictions are lifted. Similarly, we can now protect our cities from Russian guided bombs if the American leadership steps forward and allows us to destroy Russian military aircraft at their bases. This will also have an immediate effect. And we are waiting for this step

- said the President.

According to him,  Ukraine can significantly limit Russia's actions in southern Ukraine and push the occupier out of there if the American leadership helps "with the necessary capabilities for deep strikes on Russian military and logistics facilities in our, Ukrainian Crimea." According to Zelenskyy, they are talking about this with all partners.
