Buckingham Palace has confirmed the monarch's state visit to the US despite the incident at the correspondents' dinner. The King and his wife will visit Washington, New York, and Virginia.
King Charles III's upcoming visit to the US is proceeding as planned, despite a shooting incident at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner on Saturday. This is reported by The Hill with reference to a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, UNN informs.

It is noted that following discussions held throughout the day "on both sides of the Atlantic, and following government advice," the state visit will proceed as planned.

It is indicated that King Charles and Queen Camilla plan to spend six days in the States. The visit will begin on Monday in Washington, then the couple will travel to New York and Virginia.
