The Ombudsman of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets reported on the video of the occupiers' shooting of an unarmed Ukrainian soldier. He sent an appeal to the ICRC and the UN regarding the violation of the Geneva Conventions.
Russians shot an allegedly wounded unarmed Ukrainian soldier. The video is being shared online. This was reported by the Ombudsman of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets and added that he had already sent a letter to the ICRC and the UN, UNN reports.
"The occupiers have no limits to their cynicism and cruelty! The Russians shot an allegedly wounded unarmed Ukrainian soldier. They recorded this on video, which is being shared online. I am sending a letter to the ICRC and the UN regarding this case. This is a violation of the Geneva Conventions, international humanitarian law, laws and customs of warfare," Lubinets said.
He noted that if we do not respond, the crimes will be repeated.
"Unpunished evil always returns," Lubinets summarized.
