Ukraine is considering a humanitarian corridor from Kursk region to Sumy. A corridor towards Russia is possible subject to an official request from the Russian side, which has not yet been received, Vereshchuk said.

The Ukrainian side is considering a possible route for a humanitarian corridor from the Kursk region to Sumy, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said on Thursday, UNN reports.

We are currently working with the military on a possible route for a humanitarian corridor for civilians from Kursk to Sumy. Regarding the humanitarian corridor towards Russia: it is possible, but subject to an official request from the Russian side. So far, no such request has been received
