226 congressmen voted in favor of the document — 207 representatives of the Democratic Party, 18 Republicans, and one independent congressman. 195 members of the House of Representatives voted against it.
According to the passed law, it provides for the U.S. to grant Ukraine military loans amounting to up to 8 billion dollars, assistance in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as the introduction of new restrictions against the Russian Federation.
