On the border with Poland, an increase in passenger traffic is recorded by 40% due to the tourist season. The largest queues are observed at the checkpoints "Krakovets", "Shegini" and "Rava-Russkaya". At the same time, it is reported that passenger cars are temporarily not allowed to pass through the Yagodin checkpoint.

An increase in the number of border crossings and periodic queues are recorded at a number of checkpoints on the border with Poland - within the Lviv region - against the background of the tourist season and the holiday season, the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service reported on Monday, writes UNN.

"At checkpoints, Border Guards record a 40% increase in passenger traffic. Over the past day alone, more than 9 thousand vehicles and more than 60 thousand people crossed checkpoints within the Lviv region for entry and exit. This is due to the tourist season and the holiday season," the data of the 7th border Carpathian detachment are given.

It is reported that most often travelers choose the checkpoints "Krakovets", "Shegini" and "Rava-Russkaya"to cross the border. "in this regard, there is a periodic accumulation of transport in front of these checkpoints," the report says.

Less dynamics of movement is reported to be observed in "Smilnitsa", "Grushev" and "Ugrinov".

In order to reduce the waiting time, travelers are advised to choose less busy border crossing points.

At the same time, it is reported that passenger cars are temporarily not allowed to pass through the Yagodin checkpoint on the border with Poland.

The state Customs Service previously reported that, according to the Polish side, at the Dorogusk - Yagodin checkpoint on the "entrance to the Republic of Poland" section from 10:00 on August 5, it is planned to repair one weight complex and partially replace the road surface. "In this regard, it is possible to slow down the passage of cargo vehicles to leave Ukraine," the Customs Service said

They promised to inform about the completion dates of the repair work additionally.
