11 soldiers of the National Guard from Lviv region are posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree for heroic self-sacrifice in defending Ukraine from the Russian invasion.

This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the head of the Lviv regional military (state) administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.

"Some of them are forever 42, some are 37, and some did not even live to be 22 because of the damned occupier. Some of them orphaned three, two, or one child, and some did not have time to give birth to descendants. But all of them are united by the fact that they are and will forever remain in our memory and in our hearts as Heroes who showed the greatest courage and sacrificed their lives for the sake of the lives of others," he wrote.
