The French brand Chanel has used Mykola Leontovych's “Shchedryk” melody in a new Christmas video for its makeup collection. In the video, top model Vittoria Cerreti waits for the first snow to the legendary Ukrainian melody.

The Chanel brand used the melody of the Ukrainian “Shchedryk” in its Christmas commercial, reports UNN.

Chanel has presented a Christmas video dedicated to its new makeup collection. The music is the legendary melody “Shchedryk” created by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych. Known worldwide as “Carol of the Bells,” it has long been a symbol of Christmas.

 In the charming video, the heroine, top model Vittoria Cerreti, is looking forward to the first snow. Then the magic happens - a snowflake gently touches her palm. Soon everything around her is covered with white snowand the landscape begins to sparkle, filling the atmosphere with joy and anticipation of a miracle.
