Ukraine is developing an innovative UA DroneID technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Aerial Intelligence NGO, and CossackLabs to identify its own and enemy drones, improve mission safety and efficiency, provide situational awareness, and minimize friendly fire.

The Ministry of Defense signed a memorandum on the development of innovative UA DroneID technology with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Aerial Intelligence NGO and CossackLabs
The technology has already been tested in combat with attack drones.
The agency explained that UA DroneID allows to increase the safety and efficiency of missions, provides situational awareness on the battlefield during missions.
This solution is unique in terms of both development and civil-military cooperation for innovation. We are working to ensure that the DELTA product ecosystem fully meets the needs of the military. Integrated technology will help minimize friendly fire, save more of our drones, and analyze drone usage

Mykhailo Fedorov, head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, emphasized that UA Drone ID is a unique example of military-civilian cooperation in the army's technology track.
The UA Drone ID technology in DELTA will enhance the analysis of how best to use drones - for example, it will be possible to plan which ones are best used to hit specific targets

In an interview with Welt, Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine is testing artificial intelligence drone technology. According to him, the first such prototypes may appear on the battlefield by the end of the year.
