The European Union has transferred another billion euros to Ukraine as part of the G7 ERA initiative, and Ukraine expects to receive 13 billion euros by the end of the year. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a press conference, reports UNN.

... today, as a result of our agreements, the EU is allocating another 1 billion euros to Ukraine, secured by income from Russian frozen assets. Thus, since the beginning of the year, the total amount of funding provided by the EU to Ukraine from income from these assets will reach 5 billion euros. We hope to receive more than 13 billion euros from our European allies by the end of this year as part of the ERA initiative

- said Shmyhal.

He stressed that Ukraine called on European partners to strengthen joint work on a legal mechanism for the full confiscation of Russian assets, because, according to the World Bank, the reconstruction of Ukraine will cost more than 500 billion euros.
