Ukraine is focusing on fulfilling the promises of US President-elect Trump. Deputy Prime Minister Stefanishyna emphasized that ending the war is impossible without Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO.
Ukraine is currently focusing on implementing the promises of US President-elect Donald Trump in the best way possible, but Ukraine's principled position is that ending the war is impossible without Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna in a conversation with journalists, UNN reports.

According to Stefanishyna, Ukraine is currently focusing on the clearest promises made by President Trump, who made a public commitment before his victory
"Active contacts with both administrations - the current and the future - are ongoing. The head of the President's Office also communicates elements of the Victory Plan, which has all the points, but I think that the moment that could have been used for an invitation to NATO was not used by the current administration. That is why today we are focusing on implementing President Trump's promises in the best way possible, but the principled position of all of us, the people of Ukraine and the President, is that the end of the war is impossible without Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO," Stefanishyna added.
