Shmyhal said that one of the priorities is long-term and uninterrupted military assistance from the EU.

I fully agree with Borrell that Europe now realizes that the vital interests of the entire continent depend on us. That is why Ukraine expects rapid progress in defense relations

- Shmyhal said.

In turn, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said at a press conference following the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council that russian dictator vladimir putin has imperial ambitions to move further west.

He (putin - ed.) has imperial ambitions to move further west... So now we have no opportunity to delay the next steps to act to direct the frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. Now we are investing, looking for resources, but we know what large assets we can use to help Ukraine and we are working on it now

- Borrell said.
