"With the latest-and decisive-predictions from Alaska and Wisconsin, Donald Trump now has 279 electoral college votes," the newspaper writes.
According to the U.S. voting system, each state or territory actually conducts its own elections and then sends a certain number of electors, which roughly depends on the size of the population, to vote in the so-called electoral college.
In the 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C., there are 538 votes, and the winner is the candidate who receives 270 or more.
Kamala Harris, meanwhile, has 223, having just won New Hampshire, giving her four more votes, the publication points out.
The BBC has published a map of the United States showing how the candidates' victory looks like by state.
