Rescuers went three times yesterday, July 9, to help people stuck in elevators due to stabilization power outages in the city.
"In one of the high-rise buildings, two adults and a one-and-a-half-year-old were trapped, in another - three children, and at another address - two adults," the SES said.
"Rescuers receive reports of people needing help because the elevator stopped during a power outage almost every day," the SES said.
The State Emergency Service urged Ukrainians to take the stairs during power outages and air raids. "Even when there is light, try not to use the elevator to avoid being trapped in case of an emergency shutdown," the rescuers emphasized.
