The Foreign Ministry spokesperson reported on the active work on the delivery of air defense systems that Ukraine needs. Specific systems and their locations have already been identified for further delivery.

Work on the delivery of some air defense systems out of the 19 needed is underway, and there is already an understanding of which systems will be transferred and where they are located. This was announced by the Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgiy Tykhyi during a briefing, according to a UNN correspondent .

We welcome the signal about 19 air defense systems from NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. We can confirm that there is an understanding of what kind of air defense systems these are and where they are located. We are working to deliver them to Ukraine as soon as possible. The work is actively underway

In early December, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga called for the urgent transfer of 20 air defense systems to Kyiv. 

Later, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that he expects 19 air defense systemsthat Ukraine needs.

On December 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that  Ukraine has requested 19 air defense systems to protect nuclear power distribution substations.
