The United States of America has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine totaling $500 million. This was announced by US Department of Defense, UNN reports.
Details
According to the information, this is the 72nd package under the President's program of support for Ukraine. The United States promises to continue to provide assistance until the end of the current administration's term.
The new package will include ammunition for HIMARS systems, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, and high-velocity anti-radiation missiles (HARMs). The package also includes ammunition for 155 mm and 105 mm artillery, mine-resistant MRAP vehicles, and HMMWV multi-role wheeled vehicles that provide troop mobility.
In addition, the United States is providing counter-drone technologies, which include advanced ammunition for counter-drone systems (c-UAS). The Ukrainian military will also receive light tactical vehicles, equipment for protection against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats, as well as explosives and a wide range of small arms ammunition.
