Details
The situation on the border with Belarus has not changed significantly recently. The situation is fully under control. We continue to build up our defense capabilities and fortifications directly along the border in terms of engineering. We understand that this area remains threatening, as Belarus continues to support Russia in the war that the terrorist country has unleashed against our country
He added that there are no sufficient Russian forces on the border with Belarus.
Fortunately, on the other side of the border, Russia does not have sufficient forces to invade our country. Once again, I would like to point out that at one time, the units that Russia kept on the territory of Belarus were stationed at Belarusian training grounds, undergoing training and exercises there. Russia gradually withdrew them to its territory, and did not bring in new ones as part of the rotation. Of course, there are a certain number of Russian military personnel on the territory of Belarus, but they are more like maintenance personnel for the equipment that remains on the territory of Belarus, but they are not strike forces or combat units that could pose a threat to us
