Many people have approached me with this issue, so I listened and became a co-author of the relevant law
The deputy explained that there are many entrepreneurs who left the occupied territories and left their property there. At the same time, they are required to pay loans for this property.
They did not betray Ukraine, but now they have to pay for something they do not even have. They cannot pay off these loans. Because their property and business remained in the occupation. They do not have access to it
The deputy also explained the main provisions of the law:
For the period of martial law, it is prohibited to forcibly recover debts from people whose pledged property remained in the occupation or in the territory of active hostilities. The same applies to leasing objects.
It is ordered to extend the term of the loan agreement and agreements concluded to ensure the fulfillment of obligations for the period of suspension of accrual and payment of the corresponding monetary obligation.
Also. for the period of suspension of the obligation to pay the loan - to suspend the process of their forced recovery.
