Law enforcers are investigating where the suspect in the murder of Irina Farion could have learned to shoot. The detained 18-year-old man said he had hidden a gun, but the weapon has not yet been found.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the place where the suspect in the murder of linguist Iryna Farion could have been trained in shooting. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs  Ihor Klymenko during a briefing, according to a correspondent of UNN .

When asked where the suspect learned to use a weapon, Klymenko replied: "We are establishing a place where he could have hypothetically learned to shoot.

Klymenko also said that the suspect had mentioned that he had hidden the gun.

As for the gun, he mentioned that he had hidden it

- Klymenko said.

Klymenko reported that the weapon used by the suspect to kill Farion has not been found to date.

When asked if the suspect was using drugs, the minister replied: "There is no such information".

On July 19, an unknown person shot at Iryna Farion, a linguist and professor at Lviv Polytechnic. The woman was taken to the hospital with a head wound in an extremely serious condition. Iryna Farion died in the hospital .

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on July 25, an 18-year-old manwas detained in Dnipro , allegedly involved in the premeditated murder of Iryna Farion.

According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, law enforcement officers have enough evidence to claim that it was an 18-year-old boy detained in Dnipro who shot at linguist Iryna Farion. According to him, the investigation lasted 139 hours.

 Law enforcers are checking the suspect in the murder of Irina Farion for involvement in the neo-Nazi movement, which is centered in Russia.
