300,000 consumers in Kharkiv and the region are left without electricity due to network restrictions and damage from enemy shelling.

Yesterday in Ukraine, due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, emergency power outage schedules were applied for several hours in 5 regions. In Kharkiv region, restrictions continue to be applied and hourly outage schedules will be in effect, with 300,000 subscribers currently without power. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Saturday, UNN reports.

Yesterday in Ukraine, due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, emergency power outage schedules were applied for several hours in Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Kirovohradska, Poltavska and Sumska oblasts. Network restrictions are also possible this day

- the Ministry of Energy reports.

It is noted that today restrictions continue to be applied and hourly outage schedules will be in effect in the Kharkiv region - 300 thousand subscribers are currently without power.

"Yesterday afternoon, at the request of the transmission system operator, we carried out emergency electricity supply to Poland. The total volume of transmitted electricity amounted to 2200 MWh. There is no shortage of electricity in the power system. The power system is operating in a balanced manner," the ministry added.

Consequences of shelling

Today, during an air raid, the equipment of one of the high-voltage substations in Kyiv region and an overhead line were briefly shut down.

Also yesterday, several high-voltage overhead lines were shut down in Kharkiv region for technological reasons, and equipment at a high-voltage substation was disconnected. During the day, the overhead lines and equipment at the substation were brought back online. However, unfortunately, restrictions are still in place in Kharkiv region due to significant damage to equipment caused by massive shelling by the enemy.

Situation at ZNPP

"The backup 330 kV line remains de-energized. The plant is powered by one 750 kV line. The water level in the cooling pond is 15.50 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy emphasizes.

Import and export

Electricity imports are planned for the current day - 2681 MWh. No exports are planned.
